Group long-term disability insurance
If an employee gets injured or becomes too sick to work, would they be able to cover their living expenses and medical bills? With group long-term disability (LTD insurance), you can provide additional income support to help employees — and their families — maintain the life they've built.

With Guardian group LTD coverage, you can provide innovative and in-demand benefits to stand out among current and prospective employees. Discover the difference with Guardian.
Guardian is the first benefits carrier to embed caregiving support services into our STD and LTD offerings — so your people have the support they may need to handle any task, while also maintaining their own well-being.
Here are just a few examples of what these services help them with:
managing the complex health needs or themself for a loved one
understanding and appealing medical bills
raising and supporting a family
finding summer care or educational resources for children
caring for aging loved ones and navigating end of life

Cancer support services
Cancer cases in the US continue to rise and remain a leading cause of employee LTD leaves. These diagnoses can be difficult to navigate alone. That’s why we’ve partnered with Osara Health to embed cancer support services within our group disability offering. So employees facing cancer can access personalized, empathetic support while focusing on their holistic well-being, tracking their symptoms, and more in a unique 6- to 12-week program.

Peloton App access
To help aid in recovery, employees receiving LTD benefits have 6-month access to Peloton fitness and wellness classes — such as meditation, yoga, and outdoor walking — from a diverse lineup of over 50 world-class instructors.
Uber transportation voucher
Through our partnership with Uber, we offer transportation assistance to doctor visits or rehabilitation treatments for employees with an LTD claim.
Supplemental protection to attract and retain talent
Group individual disability income insurance is a solution to complement your existing group disability offering. Designed to help you provide more financial protection for employees who rely on bonuses and commissions — so they can have peace of mind if they need to be out of work.

Vocational rehab and return-to-work support
To give employees the best chance of returning to work, a claims manager, nurse case manager, and vocational rehabilitation specialist will be assigned to their case when they make a claim.
Together, this team of specialists will help support your employees as they recover and help assess when and if they can return to work. If they can return to work, but will need to change job roles to accommodate physical limitations, this team will also design a program to help them retrain for a new job.
