NEW YORK, N.Y., July 18, 2023 – The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® (Guardian) today announced Jennifer Andrews as Head of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.), effective immediately and reporting to Chief Human Resources Officer Stacey Hoin.
"Jennifer’s passion, expertise, and leadership will enhance our capabilities as we continue to foster a culture where colleagues from all backgrounds feel confident in bringing their best selves to work,” said Hoin. “Guardian’s commitment to J.E.D.I priorities contributes to our high-performing culture and aligns closely with our purpose to inspire well-being for colleagues, consumers, and communities.”
Andrews brings to Guardian significant leadership experience driving culture shifts to promote inclusion. Most recently as Americas Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Credit Suisse, she managed cross-functional teams to expand equitable access to opportunities, inclusive leadership competencies, and Employee Resource Group effectiveness, as well as supported innovative business and community inclusion. Andrews' prior experience includes leadership and consulting responsibilities with Bank Street College – School for Children, Paine Webber, and IBM.
