Stacey Hoin is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. In this role she is responsible for leading development and execution of strategic talent management across the lifecycle of the employee experience. Ms. Hoin is also responsible for building on the inclusive and customer-centric culture that supports Guardian’s business goals and enables its colleagues to  provide clients with the financial security they deserve in life, health and wealth.  

Ms. Hoin served as the Chief of Human Resources at GE Capital. She was responsible for developing organizational and talent strategies and leading the company’s global HR team. Ms. Hoin, a lawyer by training, was with GE for more than 30 years and served in numerous leadership roles in both HR and legal.  

She started her career with GE in the Lawyers’ Development Program and subsequently moved to GE Capital’s Retail Finance business where she served as business counsel and labor and employment counsel. She was later named GE Capital’s Organization & Talent Development leader where she was responsible for driving organizational effectiveness in support of the company’s business strategy. As the Chief Human Resources leader, Ms. Hoin led the organizational and cultural transformation of GE Capital as the company evolved from a broad-based leasing and lending organization to a more focused financial services company serving the GE industrial businesses.   

Ms. Hoin holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.
