NEW YORK, N.Y., March 30, 2020 –The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® (Guardian Life) announced today it is committing $500,000 to help Americans impacted by coronavirus.  This commitment includes support on a national and local level including:

  • $250,000 grant to Feeding America® to help address food insecurity across the country, as public schools and businesses close.
  • $100,000 donation evenly distributed to local impact funds in communities where Guardian has local offices – Appleton, WI; Bethlehem, PA; New York, NY; Pittsfield, MA; and Spokane, WA.
  • Through the Guardian for Good Employee Giving Program, a special 2:1 corporate match has been implemented for all employee donations to Feeding America food banks across the country, up to $150,000.
