Benefits designed with well-being in mind
Each type of supplemental health benefit provides a direct benefit payment (available via direct deposit) to employees to help maintain and strengthen their financial confidence while easing stress and worry around paying for care.

Accident insurance
Includes a 25% benefit increase for a child organized sports injury.1

Cancer insurance
Includes a payment to help cover a vast number of services related to diagnosis, procedures, and treatments, possibly experimental treatments.

Critical illness insurance
Includes expanded coverage and earlier payouts at earlier stages of certain conditions.2

Hospital indemnity insurance
Includes a benefit payment for maternity claims at 36 weeks, newborn nursery care benefit after baby is born, and inpatient treatment for mental health and substance abuse. Caregiving and fertility health and family-building support are also embedded.
And even further with a built-in wellness benefit
Help offset care-related and medical insurance costs: Pay a direct benefit for completing certain health screenings, tests, or procedures.
That benefit payment helps motivate employees to go for routine health screenings such as an EKG or mammography. And is available with all Guardian supplemental health coverages — another way clients are able to show their employees how much they’re valued and appreciated.
