So step 1 in accessing care is to complete the simple registration process. By entering very basic information like your work email address and your phone number, you're able to easily activate your Spring Health member account. And for those that don't register right away, Spring Health will automatically send a follow up email reminder.
Now once your registration is complete and your account is created, you're going to be prompted to take that brief assessment that Glenda talked about, right? This assessment screens for mental health conditions, and it's really meant to gauge where you may be on your emotional well-being journey and maybe the level of care that you might need. It only takes a few minutes. And as you can see from the sample, it's really clean. It's really easy to follow.
From the assessment, Spring Health is going to create that personalized plan that's going to be specific to your individual needs. So the care plan may include steps that may suggest starting therapy. Maybe it might recommend using some self-guided exercises or simply refer you to other resources.
What's nice about the assessment is that you can move through your care plan at your own pace. Complete check-ins when you see the need to see how you're progressing against your plan and even set new goals for yourself.
Now this brings me to what I consider the most important component of the program. And Glenda has certainly talked a lot about it, and I think it's worth mentioning, the Care Navigator. After you complete the assessment, you are matched to a dedicated Care Navigator, and you'll have immediate unlimited access to this individual. Your Care Navigator is really there to help you not only understand your results and plot out your next steps, but answer any questions that you have around mental health, around wellness.
And if you do need to pursue therapy, your Care Navigator can help you find that therapist and get you started with treatment, which we know can be so difficult and such an overwhelming process. So you no longer have to worry about searching through hundreds of therapists, trying to confirm if they take your medical insurance, if they're accepting new patients. Your Care Navigator can do all that for you. Taking that guesswork out of the process and really helping you find the therapist that's right for you the first time. So no more of that trial and error.
And if you do need to schedule an appointment, it's really easy. This is another great feature that sets Spring Health apart. First of all, the diversity of their network. We talked a little bit about this. I have to repeat just how diverse it is. When you go in to select a therapist, you're able to customize your search based on your needs and your preferences. And you can filter down to conditions, provider specialty, racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identity, language, and location. So you're able to find the right fit for you, right?
Plus all of the therapists are integrated into Spring Health's scheduling platform, so you can book an appointment directly on your member account and see real time availability. As you can see on the slide, you can see the therapist bio, and you see all of their open appointment times. So it's as simple as just clicking an available time to reserve an appointment.
And to accommodate all schedules, you'll notice that appointments are available throughout the day, from very early in the morning to late evenings, even on weekends. So you're able to get that appointment in as easy as two days compared to those typical 21 days.
Another benefit that's available through the program is the library of Moments. Moments are meant to be these bite size, self-guided mindfulness exercises to help you manage things like stress, anxiety, burnout, and so much more. They're really designed to give you immediate relief in the moment. And they're there to provide you with tools that you can use to cope with those feelings should they ever really come up in the future.
Spring Health may recommend some moments based on your assessments, but you can always choose to check them out whenever you like and as often as you'd like. You simply tell Spring Health how you're feeling, and they'll recommend the best exercises for you. You can actually view your moments directly on the Spring Health website or you can use it through your mobile app, so you have the support when you need it on the go wherever you are.
And as you can see from this slide, this is my personalized moments app on the left. And on the right, you'll see the list of topics that are covered by Moments. So I think it's simple to say that Spring Health is truly a complete and comprehensive benefit that supports individuals across a really broad spectrum of behavioral health.
