Can you create that personalized experience where you can answer-- if you're an employee and you can answer a couple of questions or even having that info prefed into the dashboard? How old they are? Are they married? Kids? People in this situation this is usually the amount of coverage they can get. So that's one great approach. So people feel really comfortable and research shows that those methods are very effective. Don't make generational assumptions. Don't think that your older employees are all about paper and your Gen Z and millennials are all about digital. It definitely skews a little bit that way but it's not all or nothing. So you want to have a multi-pronged approach.
Can you make benefits part of your holistic employee experience and communicate year round, and help employees understand that their experience, it's their comp, it's their career growth, it's work life balance, but it's also their benefits so that way they don't feel squeezed on this time and are only spending an hour. So really help have sessions and communicate benefits throughout the year so they can then truly appreciate and make informed decisions.
