Video transcript - How a life insurance policy can support the LGBTQ+ community

Why do I love a life insurance policy in the LGBTQ+ community? It is a guaranteed way to be able to determine who your beneficiary is. I know from myself, having access to direct family members isn't really the thing. I have a wonderful chosen family. And so when I think about that, who is my family might not be standard.

And so when we think about life insurance designations of beneficiaries, it's good to have that open so the person can identify who it is that they are like, this is the person. This is my person if I unfortunately passed, this is who I would want to be able to have access to that money to be able take care of the things that need to be taken care of.
