Individual vision insurance plans cover all or a portion of the cost of most routine vision care, including the following:
Eye exams
Every Individual vision plan includes an annual Well Vision Exam® for just $15 at a doctor in the VSP network.
Lenses
Lenses are covered up to your plan allowance after a $25 copay for prescription glasses. Single vision, lined bifocal, and lined trifocal lenses covered in full. Impact-resistant (polycarbonate) lenses for children covered in full.
Frames
Frames are covered up to your plan allowance, plus 20% off on any coverages. VSP members also get an extra $20 allowance for featured frame brands.
Contacts
Contacts and contact lens exam (fitting and evaluation) covered up to your plan allowance. 15% savings on a contact lens exam.
For laser vision correction, average of 15% off regular price or 5% off promotional price (Only at participating VSP network locations).
Policyholders in most states also save up to 60% on a pair of digital hearing aids through TruHearing®. Savings on hearing aids batteries for members and their extended family members.
