I very intentionally looked for a career with a company that my values aligned with and that my philosophy on financial services match very closely to. So as a child, I was very philanthropic. I was really involved in school and in church and always leading different groups.

So I started off in the non-profit world. And I wanted to do that for my life. That's what I thought. I didn't know it was possible to have a career that could be as impactful to others, while also being able to make money at the same time.

I discovered that there are so many parallels between what I was doing previously in the non-profit world and what I did today. Because I'm still helping people get access to good, trusted financial services. I can honestly say that Guardian is there to help protect families when some of the worst of times may come about. As a person, my heart is in helping others. And I do truly believe that that's what Guardian feels that they're doing. And that's what I feel like I'm doing too.
