How state leave laws are driving changes for employers

Now employers, again, especially those with workers in the most highly regulated states, so the states with mandated disability plans and paid PFML leave laws, those are the employers that are struggling the most. But 88% of them are actually planning to move to broader company paid leave policies in response to all this state legislation. And on top of that, more than half of the employers in states with these paid leave plans do intend to opt out and pursue a private plan where available, so working with a carrier like Guardian.
