Guardian wants you to know that we are here to help. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be feeling as you deal with the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. Guardian life insurance policies generally have a grace period of 31 days or 61 days following the premium due date in which to pay your premium. Your policy remains in force during the grace period.

To help our impacted Massachusetts individual policyholders currently facing a financial hardship as a result of the pandemic, Guardian will extend the grace period to at least 90 days to pay premiums for your insurance policy so it will not be cancelled for nonpayment during this challenging time.

The extended grace period applies to premiums currently due and may be adjusted or discontinued for future premium payments. This extended grace period is not intended to change the terms of your policy or contract or be considered a forgiveness of the premium. This is to help by giving you extra time to make your payments without penalty or interest.
