More changes to the NJ and NY paid family leave laws are coming in 2020.  During this webinar, Guardian and ReedGroup product and compliance leaders address the following topics and answer your questions about:

  • Expanded job protection under the NJ Family Leave Act effective in 2019, including, changes to intermittent leave, definition of covered family members, and eligibility extended to employers with at least 30 employees worldwide.
  • Changes to the NJ Family Leave Insurance program, including increased leave and benefits levels, expanded coverage definitions, and revisions to use of PTO, waiting period and notification for intermittent leave.  
  • Updates to NY's Paid Family & Medical Leave going into effect in 2020, including more weeks of paid and job-protected leave and higher benefits levels, as part of the phase-in period (year three of four).
