Jay Rosenblum is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Guardian. In this role, he leads the Human Resources team as they work in close partnership with Guardian’s business leaders to support the company's strategic priorities and position us for the future.

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Rosenblum led Guardian’s Government Affairs team, where he set the strategic direction for state and federal advocacy efforts in support of our company’s goals.

Mr. Rosenblum joined Guardian from The Hartford, where he was senior vice president, associate general counsel, and director of government affairs.

Prior to joining The Hartford, Mr. Rosenblum spent nine years representing the accounting profession in Washington, D.C., first at Ernst & Young, and later as the head of Grant Thornton’s Government Affairs office. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rosenblum held several roles in the Clinton Administration, serving at the U.S. Department of Labor, in the White House Counsel’s Office, and as the White House’s Executive Director of the first National Summit on Retirement Savings. He also clerked for the Honorable Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Mr. Rosenblum earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and his J.D. from the George Washington Law School.
