Guardian Investor Services LLC Launches New Web Site
Site offers options for individual investors and financial advisors
New York, November 24, 2003 - Guardian Investor Services LLC (GIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, has introduced a new web site. The new site, www.guardianinvestor.com, which replaces parkavenueportfolio.com and the former guardianinvestor.com sites, offers a robust menu of options to both individual investors and financial advisors and brokers who sell products distributed by GIS.

Among the many features offered on the site is account access to individual investors in The Park Avenue Portfolio family of mutual funds and annuities issued by The Guardian Insurance & Annuity Company, Inc. Account holders can access their accounts and conduct online fund transfers, future allocation changes, reallocate account balances and register for e-delivery of their statements and prospectuses. Additionally investors can visit the site to view daily prices, monthly and quarterly performance information on their investments, marketing and educational information on mutual funds, annuity products, and retirement programs. The new site also includes a range of information on personal finance, including an education section, and market information and commentary supplied by CBS MarketWatch, an independent company.

The new site also caters to the needs of financial professionals, offering many of the same features of the old guardianinvestor.com including access to client-accounts information and over 400 pages of data, sales materials and hypothetical models for use in selling to clients. The site also features cross-selling opportunities for all GIS products.
"This new site, which enhances our DALBAR award winning customer experience, simplifies and streamlines the information that used to be available in two different places," said Bruce Long, President of Guardian Investor Services. "Not only are we able to provide more information to both of our key user groups - investors and financial professionals - but we are able to provide better service to meet their individual needs."
DALBAR, Inc., which recognized GIS with two awards simultaneously - the DALBAR Annuity Service Award and the DALBAR Mutual Fund Service Award, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2001, and is an independent financial-services market research firm, committed to raising the standards of excellence in the financial-services industry.

Annuities are issued by The Guardian Insurance & Annuity Company, Inc. (GIAC) a Delaware corporation. Variable annuities and The Park Avenue Portfolio mutual funds are distributed by Guardian Investor Services LLC (GIS). GIAC and GIS are located at 7 Hanover Square, NY, NY 10004. GIAC and GIS are wholly owned subsidiaries of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, NY.
All mutual funds and the variable investment options offered through GIAC's variable annuities are sold by prospectus only. The prospectuses contain important details and information including risks, fees and expenses. Be sure to read the prospectuses carefully before investing or sending money. Prospectuses can be obtained from your financial professional or by calling 800-221-3253.
Mutual funds and variable annuities, along with their underlying investment options, are not deposits or obligations of, or guaranteed or endorsed by any bank or depository institution, nor are they insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), The Federal Reserve Board, the National Credit Union Association or any other agency. They involve investment risk, including possible loss of principal amount invested. Investment return and principal value may fluctuate so that shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Fixed annuities' principal and interest rates are backed solely by GIAC.
