Berkshire's Retirement Protection Plus Program Mentioned in Time Magazine and on CNBC
In the June 23 issue of Time Magazine, Berkshire Life's new Retirement Protection Plus program was mentioned in an article that looks at how disability insurance can also protect an individual's retirement savings.
The article notes that an individual policy like Berkshire's "...allows an individual disability policy to cover not only the employee's contributions to a defined-contribution plan but also the employer's matching contribution if the worker becomes totally disabled." These "...plans are being marketed to highly paid executives and physicians who want to increase their disability coverage, not to the average office manager or factory worker."
Berkshire's Retirement Protection Plus was also mentioned in a personal finance segment on CNBC.
