NEW YORK, June 07, 2007 — The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian), and Dominion Dental Services, Inc. (Dominion), leading providers of employee Dental benefits for small and midsize companies, today announced that they have entered into an agreement to offer dual choice dental options to employer groups in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D. C.
The Guardian/Dominion dual choice program provides maximum flexibility to clients by offering both PPO and Dental HMO (DHMO) options. Employees can choose the plan that best fits their needs. The Guardian PPO provides access to one of the nation's largest dental networks, discounted fees and coverage for a wide range of services, out of network benefits and the ability to see general dentists and specialists without referrals. The Dominion DHMO offers lower cost, high value plans without deductibles, maximum dollar limits or waiting periods, using a smaller network of providers.
