NEW YORK, July 16, 2007 — The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) today announced that Margaret W. (Meg) Skinner would join the firm as Executive Vice President, Individual Products Distribution. With more than 20 years of experience in executive management positions in several insurance and financial industry leaders, she joins Guardian from Principal Financial, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President, Life and Health Distribution.
She will be responsible for all aspects of Guardian's individual products distribution and will report directly to the CEO, Dennis J. Manning.
