Chau's interest in personal finance started early when she began investing her own money at the age of 16. "I was successful enough that I was able to buy my first house at 23."
She continued her financial education by earning a degree in economics from the University of CA at San Diego and recently completed a three-year program to become a Certified Financial Planner. She has been the Disability Specialist for graduates and residents of University of CA at Los Angeles School of Dentistry since 1999. She also provides personal financial planning for these graduates and residents throughout their dental careers. Chau has a network of clients that spans nation-wide, "I work with medical and dental professionals that refer me to other clients when they move around the country during their residencies." She also provides personal and business financial planning for dental and medical professionals who are in practice.
