On May 22, 2012, the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley recognized Guardian’s Northeast Regional Office in Bethlehem, Pa., with three awards related to its 2011 United Way campaign, which raised more than $269,000.

Guardian received The Community Caring Award, The Cornerstone Society Award, and The Campaign Chairman’s Award.

The Community Caring Award recognizes companies and organizations that increase their campaign dollar giving (employee and corporate) by $10,000 over the previous year’s campaign.

The Cornerstone Society Award recognizes companies and organizations that achieve United Way campaign contributions above $100,000 annually.

The Campaign Chairman’s Award is given to the company that has demonstrated continued leadership and innovation in conducting its United Way campaign and a continued ability to increase awareness throughout Lehigh Valley. United Way chose Guardian for this award out of 448 companies in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

Guardian is one of only five companies to receive both of the Community Caring and Cornerstone Society awards.
