Chief Operating Officer

Scott Dolfi is Chief Operating Officer of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. In this role, he oversees Guardian's Individual Life & Disability, Group, and Retirement Solutions businesses. Mr. Dolfi brings more than 25 years of financial services and operating management experience to his current position.

Mr. Dolfi joined Guardian in 2008 as Executive Vice President of the Retirement Solutions Profit Center and was appointed Executive Vice President, Business & Operations in 2009. Prior to coming to Guardian, he held a variety of senior and executive management positions with both insurers and financial services companies. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GE Asset Management. Prior to that, he was CEO of GE Life in the United Kingdom. He also held several leadership roles in management and business development at GE Capital.

Mr. Dolfi is presently a board member with the Accenture Insurance Advisory Board (IAB) and a member of the Life and Annuities Executive Officer Roundtable (LEOR).

Mr. Dolfi earned his bachelor's degree from Clarkson University and a master's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
